Bloody Travel Agents
At the office we use ResEx, not sure who they are, but when I have to deal with a live body things get messed up. Last week I phoned to change this week's trip so I wasn't working on a holiday. A tather simple change, a few more $$ and we should be on our way. However, last night I went to check in and wasn't able to. Knowing this usually means my reservation hasn't been ticketed. So I had to ring up the travel agent, for a fee of $30 to have them check their work and make sure the trip was ticketed. It wasn't. So once they fixed that I was still blocked from using the on-line check-in since I had already attempted. Thanks to their incompetence, I have to pay more flight change fees, travel agent charges and be inconvienced from my normal morning flight routine, not to mention, since I couldn't check-in on line there was no telling what was going to happen when I got to the airport in the morning. Hoping for a good travel day that hinges on the competence of a travel agent is never good odds.
